A Response to The Daily Cardinal

On October 30th, The Daily Cardinal published an editorial titled, “Conservatives say they’re silenced at UW-Madison. What they really want is immunity from criticism.” A quote from the article reads, “We here at The Daily Cardinal fully support free speech on our campus, but we also recognize when bad actors weaponize discussions around ‘ideological diversity’ to suppress free and open dissent to their ideas.” As someone accused by the Cardinal of being “a bad actor” who is “weaponizing” an important issue, I feel the need to respond.
UW-Madison Alumnus Returns to Campus as a Priest

Wisconsin Association of Scholars Calls on UW System to Condemn Charlie Kirk Assassination

The Wisconsin Association of Scholars released a statement on September 21st condemning the assassination of conservative political activist Charlie Kirk, who was killed earlier that month during his American Comeback Tour. Kirk was shot in the neck while engaging in an open debate with college students at Utah Valley University, and his murder has sparked grave concern for the future of free speech on campuses.
