On Monday, November 3rd, SVU is partnering with the Madison City Clerk’s Office to hold a Poll Worker Training and Recruitment Event at 7 pm in the Fifth Quarter Studio on the 2nd floor of Union South. This event will include a presentation and training by the City on the roles of poll workers, including how to perform voter registration and help administer elections. Poll workers can choose to volunteer or they can be paid at a rate of $16.50/hr, making it a great opportunity for students to get some extra income.
